When I arrived the host was friendly. I greatly enjoyed staying at Cary Court. The setting was within a walking distance of everything I wanted to visit, like inner harbour. One could dine at restaurants such as Amici 5 minutes away😀🙂

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great garden and nice balcony. Good location for shopping and experiencing Torquay and Devon. Steep hill, but good exercise! Will absolutely recommend and hopefully come back.
They couldn't cook an egg for breakfast! (otherwise excellent assortment of hot and cold food)

The whole ambience of the hotel was so conducive to rest and relaxation. In addition to the sumptuous surroundings, we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. With such great hosts (Linda and Paul were most attentive); lovely breakfasts, (with lots of options); beautiful gardens (inc. Swimming pool); a very pleasant stay is assured. We would not hesitate to recommend the Cary Court to anyone.
We loved everything about this hotel, but felt that a more modern flat- screen tv in the room would have been a worthwhile plus.

Absolute hospitality/welcome by Paul and Linda to share their beautiful, peaceful home. A real sense and relaxation of the tropics in Torquay. The weather helped, very hot and sunny. The breakfast was first class, and the bar facilities (bring your own as it is not licensed) brilliant. Relaxing on the veranda by the good sized pool surrounded by exotic palms, banana trees etc. with a glass of wine. The bedrooms are beautiful, quality bed linen, lovely bathrooms and very clean throughout. The public areas have beautiful antiques, a quirky, unique place to stay. paul was very helpful regarding places to go and restaurant recommendations. We had the choice of a popular 5* hotel in Torquay for the same price, so glad we chose Cary Court instead.

We found Linda and Paul extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was comfortable, clean and in a great location for the harbour area and shops. The room was light and airy and there were plenty of towels and tea and coffee. The atmosphere was very relaxing and homely. We would like to visit in the summer to take full advantage of the garden and swimming pool.

The hotel provided us with immense support when we had our wallet with cash, credit cards and driving licence stolen by pickpockets in the town.Their assistance in recovering our position was outstanding

A quiete and relaxing, very enjoyable establishment with helpful and friendly owners. Great value for money offering superior standards with the best breakfast I have had on a trip away recently (recently stay in two other seaside accomdations and was shocked at the qualities of food and standards offered) Cary Court Guest House restored my faith.

Central location, but quiet area for being a short walk from the harbour. The Cary Court is a lovely traditional Torquay Villa and has the feel of a Tropical Plantation House - the gardens are remarkable and pool and bar arrangements excellent. Paul and Linda run an informal, friendly and very efficiant regime - we hope to return
Remember Torquay is built on 7 hills so elderly or infirm guests may need Taxis to get around - but the walk is fine for most.
